Selkirk Montessori, preschool, elementary and middle school children learn at their own pace through guided exploration. Learning from their personal experiences, they own the knowledge they have gained. Independence, confidence, self-discipline and a love of learning are qualities that distinguish Montessori students.

Sepehr Daycare, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, warm and welcoming environment for all children. Our unique daycare offers a variety of activities for children to take part in, while always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning. Through these activities children can reach their social and physical milestones naturally and with ease.

The entire community school team supports the preschool. Because of this the benefits are immense. From use of the elementary school facility including gym and library and activity rooms the preschool also gains from the support of the programs staff, teaching staff and support from the older children from the community who attend the regular school. Children therefore feel a part of the entire school community.

Silly Monkeys Childcare provides daycare services for children from 30 months all the way through their elementary school career. A bus stop is right outside our door and services Kinnaird Elementary and the Twin Rivers Campuses. We offer care in a family setting with the advantages of a group centre, with educated providers and the reliability of a full team of staff. We bring you the best of both styles of care in one centre.

We know that meaningful and ongoing communication between home and school has a positive impact on student learning and engagement. This year, in-person Student/Teacher/Family Conferences will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at all Elementary and Middle Schools in SD83. Students will not be in attendance this day, except during their scheduled conference time.
